Several scholarships are available to B.A.A. students. Churches, Central California Conference (CCC), Pacific Union Conference, and B.A.A. offer scholarships based on financial need. Contact your church for an application for church sponsored scholarships. The Pacific Union Conference Endowment scholarship application is available online on the CCC Education Department menu under scholarships. CENTRAL CALIFORNIA CONFERENCE (CCC)
CCC Endowment Fund
Eligibility—Both elementary and secondary students. Parents or applicant must hold membership in a CCC Seventh-day Adventist church and must demonstrate financial need. Students must maintain an acceptable academic record. Parents or a sponsoring church member must make a financial commitment to the local school. Applications are available online at https://online.factsmgt.com/aid. The link will take you to the FACTS sign in page. There is a $35 application fee. The deadline is June 30, 2020. The deadline for new students applying to BAA for the first time is September 15, 2020 .
New Member Fund
First time students in grades K-12 who have been baptized or who have at least one parent who is a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and who was baptized within the last five years are eligible to apply for a 20% scholarship toward tuition for the first and second year in attendance. Applications are available through pastors and the principal. Open enrollment for the first year.
Three Way Matching Fund
Some churches participate in the Three-Way Matching Fund. The church, B.A.A. and CCC each provide $300 for a total scholarship of $900 per applicant. A maximum of seven scholarships are available to BAA students. Contact the principal or pastor for more information. The deadline is June 30, 2020.
Pacific Union Endowment Fund
Eligibility—Secondary students grades 9-12. Applicants must contact the principal prior to applying. Scholarships awarded vary based on the number of eligible applicants. Applications are available online at cccedu.adventistfaith.org/scholarships and in the B.A.A. office. Deadline is June 30, 2020 at the CCC Office of Education.
BAKERFIELD ADVENTIST ACADEMY
BAA has a limited number of scholarships available including the PK-8 Scholarship Fund. Apply online at https://online.factsmgt.com/aid.
